Meet Our Veterinary Team
Dr. Thomas T. Stasiak, DVM & Owner (he/him)
Dr. Stasiak graduated from Michigan State University in 1986 and started his career in Birmingham, Michigan then moved to Grand Rapids in 1994. He worked in Grand Rapids for 5 years before acquiring Forest Hills Veterinary Clinic in 1999 with Dr. Knowles. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends, especially at his cottage in Northern lower Michigan.
Dr. Nguyen, DVM (she/her)
Dr. Nguyen (pronounced like “win”) graduated from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. She is originally from the Grand Rapids area and moved back after graduating, where she has worked in small animal general practice ever since. She has two pit bull mixes (aka her PITatoes), Poppie and Winnie, as well as a guinea pig named Bellatrix. In her free time, she enjoys working out, traveling, reading, playing piano, and spending time with her family & friends. Dr. Nguyen is looking forward to meeting all of you and your fur babies at Forest Hills Veterinary Clinic!

LVT & Practice Manager
Jessica graduated from the Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in Denver, CO, in 2008. She moved to Grand Rapids in 2016. She started working at Forest Hills Veterinary Clinic in April 2017. Jessica has two cats, Isabel and Calie, and a lab, Murray. She enjoys playing outside with her kids, spending time with her family, camping, and watching sports.

Hey, y’all! My name’s Alexa, and I’m a tech assistant. I graduated from the University of Michigan with my bachelor’s of science in 2020 and have been working in vet med ever since. I have a passion for working with animals, and I love to be outdoors, especially on the water or hunting.

I’ve grown up in Grand Rapids and am finishing up as a pre-vet student at MSU. I’ve worked in veterinary medicine for 5 years now and spent the last 3 in emergency. I love to read, workout, and watch reality TV in my spare time.
Kyleigh L. (she/her)
My love and compassion for animals has been a huge part of my life since I was little. I grew up with dogs and cats and loved riding horses when I was younger. I started working in Veterinary medicine 9 years ago. I grew up in Southwest Michigan and recently moved to the Grand Rapids area with my husband and our two dogs, Ellie and Finley. I love being outdoors, going hiking, and camping! I also love reading and tending to my ever-growing collection of plants.

Katie received her BA in History from Calvin University in 2020. Her passion for the veterinary field began while volunteering at an animal rescue during the COVID pandemic. Katie has two cats, Ollie & Ophelia (Opie), and enjoys crime tv shows, historical fiction, and spending time with her family.
Max K. (they/them)
Max was raised in Sand Lake and moved to Grand Rapids in 2010 after getting married to their high school sweetheart. They have a dog and two cats that are all very spoiled. They spend their free time gardening, watching anime and hiking. They also have a large rock and mineral collection. Max also loves spiders and is the clinics go to for spider relocation.

Hi, my name is Hailey! I grew up in the Grand Rapids area and graduated from Michigan State with a bachelor’s degree in animal science. I have 3 dogs and a cat and when I am not loving on my pets I love reading, baking, going to concerts, traveling, and hanging out with my family on our boat!
